Learn more about What's Your Digital Business Model?

Drawing on data and stories collected since 2012 from more than a thousand enterprises, this MIT CISR research by Peter Weill and Stephanie Woerner has led to a simple but powerful framework and language to help executives think about their competitive environments in the digital era. The findings have been compiled
in a new book—published by Harvard Business Review Press—that helps leaders clarify the path to higher value via straightforward steps and self-assessments.

About Stephanie

Stephanie’s work focuses on how companies use technology and data to create more effective business models and manage the organizational change caused by the digitization of the economy. She has a passion for measuring hard-to-assess digital factors such as connectivity and customer experience, and linking them to firm performance. She is currently studying strategies for re-platforming the enterprise, the evolution of digital ecosystems and patterns of enterprise digital investments.

One of her articles (with Peter Weill) "Thriving in an Increasingly Digital Ecosystem,” published in MIT Sloan Management Review, was named one of the best MIT SMR articles of the 2010s.
