AI Agents for Business Change

In this Hot Topic video presentation, John Horton of the MIT Sloan School of Management showcases his research on using AI agents to create social simulations.
Abstract

Professor Horton explores the surprisingly powerful use of Large Language Models (LLMs) for role-playing and creating rich social simulations. This video presentation delves into how LLMs can create computational models of human behavior and explore potential business implications. These include simulating the effects of company decisions and creating models of customer behavior ("agentifying" customers) using historical data to explore trade-offs.
