Abstract
We describe how security firm Protection 1 is using data from a digitized platform to empower operating level employees and provide transparent operational information to people throughout the company. We have long observed that most firms’ digitized platforms are under-utilized. This briefing describes how one company drives extraordinary value from its platform, and uses data from the platform to clarify the expectations and outcomes of every individual. Protection 1 is an interesting example of a data-driven organization.
