MIT CISR Summer Session

Generating Business Value from IT: Succeeding in a Digital Economy
June 18–22, 2012

Apply for this program

Please join us this summer at MIT for one or more daylong workshops exploring how increasingly digital organizations leverage IT and create business value. Better yet, come for a full week and we’ll devote the last day to assessing your firm’s digital capabilities and defining some next steps. Workshops are led by MIT Sloan researchers and feature current and classic MIT CISR research topics using a combination of lecture, case study, video, discussion groups, and guest speakers, facilitated by MIT Sloan experts.

Intended Audience:
This is our annual flagship program, which welcomes open enrollment and participants from MIT CISR sponsor and patron organizations. The program is focused on current and classic MIT Sloan CISR research topics, and targets mid-to-senior level executives in large organizations. The emphasis is on setting strategy, making better decisions, and managing change in the way organizations use IT for critical business processes. No technical background is required; the information presented and group discussions will help both IT and non-IT executives play a stronger role in driving value from IT.

Summer Session participants who attend all five days receive an MIT CISR certificate acknowledging their attendance.
