MIT CISR Annual Research Forum

The MIT CISR Annual Research Forum, a review of MIT CISR findings and exchange of experiences, is a unique learning opportunity for people from MIT CISR sponsor and patron firms whether working inside or outside the IT unit. Our 2017 forum will take place on November 1 & 2 in Cambridge, MA. Each MIT CISR sponsor and patron organizations is invited to send up to three people to this event. The agenda is now available.

MIT CISR researchers will share their project findings:

  • How to design your digital organization
  • How top performers compete in dynamic ecosystems
  • How to run on analytics-powered business processes
  • The two components of a winning employee experience
  • The makeup of an innovation portfolio
  • And more!

The two-day learning will include breakout sessions on emerging technology (AI, Blockchain, Internet of Things), and guest speakers from industry-leading firms.

Andrew McAfee, Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, will deliver the faculty keynote. He is the co- author of Machine|Platform|Crowd and The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies (co-authored with Erik Brynjolfsson).

If you are interested in attending, please contact your organization’s key liaison to MIT CISR for approval to register. If you work at a sponsor or patron firm but don’t know your liaison’s contact information, contact Amber Franey, afraney@mit.edu or 617-324-7546.
