Abstract: The drive for digital innovation can lead to the proliferation of siloed products and services. Siloed products and services in turn typically lead to customer and employee difficulties. This research briefing, based on a survey of 255 executives, describes the deleterious impacts of unlimited product variety and the mitigating impacts of product integration and a set of integrative management practices on customers and employees and on companies’ financial results.
